We’re excited to share that we have been awarded a 5-year contract by Devon County Council for the transportation and treatment of organic sweepings waste, from multiple council depots around Devon.

The contract, which officially began in April, helps the council in achieving their recycling targets by recovering all organic road sweeping waste.

Located in Exeter just off M5, UK Remediation will treat the sweepings at its Exeter Treatment Facility, which has a capacity to process up to 70,000 tonnes of soils per year.

The award marks another step in the growth of UK Remediation and will support further investment into recycling and reuse of soils and aggregates in the region.
