We are pleased to be delivering the earthworks and remediation package for Wilmott Dixon at the Firepool site in Taunton, Somerset. The onsite works are part of Somerset County Council’s £11m Digital Innovation Centre development that will provide high-quality workspace and innovation assistance for local tech-based businesses, supporting the growth of the digital economy in the local area.

Our onsite scope of works includes:

• Reprofiling and re-levelling the site,
• delineation and remediation of contamination hotspots,
• removal, offsite treatment and recovery of excess materials,
• screening and crushing of hard materials to site reuse specifications,
• temporary access works and piling mat formation,
• soil testing and waste classification,
• environmental monitoring and control.
